Migration of a scoring tool from SAS to R

Context summary

This bank uses an interfaced tool on a daily basis to build scores for credit allocation. Historically developed in SAS, it contacted ThinkR in order to carry out the translation in R language.

Our intervention

• SAS code audit
• Transcription of the SAS to R processing chain in the same way
• Transcription from R code “word by word” to optimized R code

Result & added value

• Delivery of a documented R package with an installation procedure
• Creation of an automatic control tool for the acceptance phase.
